---- -In the region of the Buech Valley and the Baronnies, bordering the departments of Drôme and Alpes de Haute Provence (35km west of the town of Sisteron), the little village of Eourres (alt. 1000 m.) winds along a rocky ridge among green pastureland and forests of ash and field maple. The surrounding mountains are home to wild roe deer and chamois, while their rockfaces harbour the nests of buzzards and eagles.

The Farm Camp Site

The camp site at Bamboul'Ane is in deep country at the end of a little mountain road, with room for just ten tents. A caravan is available (sleeps 3 ñ 5) and can be rented by the week.

Day excursions

A variety of circuits enable you to explore the mountains and forests at your own pace.
You might opt to take one of Bamboul'Ane's donkeys with you, to carry the picnic and/or a child. You can reserve one of the donkeys for your stay and take him with you on all your walks. He will soon learn to recognize you and come to meet you!

The team at Bamboul'Ane will teach you how to pack-saddle your donkey and give you all the advice you need to handle him with confidence.

At Bamboul'Ane you'll also enjoy ...

our table d'hôte meals, lovingly prepared using products of the farm; packed lunches
and French breakfasts, not to mention teas and cold drinks served on the shady terrace.
