Setting off with adapted equipment
Our passion: donkeys and hiking—but also building human connections and sharing experiences.
The donkey is an animal with countless qualities: attentive in relationships, gentle and affectionate, fond of human company—especially that of the more vulnerable (young children, individuals with autism or disabilities...)—respectful despite its strength, calm and serene in all circumstances when it feels safe…
Thanks to its physical abilities, the donkey can carry or pull significant loads with determination and humility. It is therefore perfectly suited to mediation work or therapeutic approaches to hiking.
That’s why a number of donkey handlers have committed to developing hiking and donkey discovery experiences for people with disabilities—with educational, therapeutic, or accessibility goals in mind.
They are, of course, also signatories of the FNAR Quality Charter.

These handlers offer activities for all types of participants (adults, children—some even for families with disabilities), and most are open to all kinds of disabilities (mental and physical).
They mainly operate from their donkey farms (asinineries), but some also visit institutions or organize supported or independent itinerant hikes.
